How to find your LLC registration number and EIN
Your LLC registration number and your business tax ID (EIN) are usually easy to find using paperwork you already have on hand. You can typically find your LLC registration number at the top of your formation document, the paperwork you received when you first registered your business with the state. If you can't locate that document, check any official correspondence you received from the state during the formation process.
Your business tax ID is your Employer Identification Number (EIN), issued by the IRS. You can usually find it on the EIN confirmation letter the IRS sent you when you applied for it. If you don't have that letter, your EIN also appears on your business tax returns and other official business documents tied to your company.
In short: your registration number is on your state formation document, and your EIN is on your IRS confirmation letter or your business tax returns.
