What’s included in my doola plan, and why am I being charged extra?

## What your plan includes Doola plans generally include these core services: - Business formation - Registered agent service (included in most plans) - Annual reports - Federal EIN application - Federal and state compliance filings - Select tax services Note that BOI filing is no longer offered. ### Bookkeeper, registered agent, and annual tax filing - **Registered agent service** is included in most doola plans, but you should confirm this in your specific plan dashboard or invoice. - **Bookkeeping** services are not included as a dedicated human bookkeeper. Some plans may include access to bookkeeping software, but this only provides software tools—you must perform the bookkeeping yourself unless you purchase add-on human bookkeeping services, which are billed separately. - **Annual tax filing** is generally not included as a full filing service. Plans may include select tax guidance, but you should check your plan dashboard to see exactly what tax filing services (if any) are covered by your subscription. ## Why you may see extra charges You might see additional charges for optional services or add-ons beyond the features included in your plan. Extra charges usually reflect services you selected that are not included in your subscription. Common extra charges include: - Human bookkeeping services - ITIN applications - Form 5472 filings - Form 1099 filings - Advanced banking support Specialized filings, banking support, and bookkeeping services beyond your plan typically incur separate charges. ### Banking address requirements (common issue) - Most banks require a physical street address (not a P.O. box) for compliance. - If your virtual address is rejected by a bank, you must provide a legitimate physical address (e.g., residence, office, or a compliant commercial address accepted by the bank). - Some banks allow a separate mailing address while maintaining a physical street address on file. - Always verify your bank’s specific address policies before submitting your information. ## Why services can feel expensive Prices reflect the cumulative costs of: - State fees - Filing fees - Compliance requirements - Administrative and support services ## How to confirm what’s included Check your plan dashboard to see what features and services are included in your subscription. Your invoice and dashboard show a clear breakdown of every charge, including any add-ons or optional services. If you require explanations about specific charges, review your invoice detail or dashboard first. For details on pricing and service-levels, visit doola.com/pricing.
